The Advent Altro Recovery Partition Re-Image DVDs are bootable and will work even if the Advent Altro Hard Drive has been replaced.

This Advent Altro Boot DVDs simply recreates an image of the original Advent Altro Hard Drive Windows Vista Recovery facility and therefore allows you to reinstall your Advent Altro to its original factory settings (even if you have fitted a new hard disk drive) or if you have a virus in the Advent Altro Recovery partition.

If your Advent Altro computer has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to wipe your current installation and re-install from your Advent Altro Recovery DVDs and then install quality anti virus - anti spyware programs.

Please note; some viruses can exist in the Recovery Partition or can create their own partition.

If your Advent Altro is running slowly, it could be due to a virus or Viruses. The computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. If this is the case; repairing the current Windows Vista installation will not help because the repair process will not remove infections. Re-installing Windows will wipe the hard drive and should also remove - delete viruses, malware, spyware or Adware. It will also remove programs & utilities which may no longer be required.

Reinstalling almost always allows the computer to "run faster" and the user can re-install the programs that they actually want & use.

If your computer has a faulty hard disk drive (eg; if the hard drive cannot be "seen" by the computer, if it has bad sectors, bad blocks or is making a clicking or loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive and restore Windows Vista with the original software from your Advent Altro Recovery DVDs.

This process will involve replacing the hard drive and then placing the  Advent Altro Recovery DVDs in the DVD drive and re-booting the system. The computer should then boot from the Advent Altro Recovery DVDs and this will then return the computer to its original state (as new).

Please note; this service DOES NOT include a Windows Installation CD (re-installation is performed from the Advent Altro Recovery partition).

Please note; the Advent Altro Reimage DVDs will only work on Advent Altro computers.

Please note; you will need to enter the original Windows licence. This is printed on the Advent Altro Product Key label which is attached to the Advent Altro case.
