The Toshiba Sat Pro Windows Recovery CDs & Toshiba Sat Pro Windows Recovery DVDs are specifically designed for your Toshiba Satellite Pro computer, usually contain an image of what was on the computers hard drive when it was first bought. They allow you to return the Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop to its original state (as new). If your Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to re-install Windows from your Toshiba Satellite Pro Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows Recovery DVD & then install quality anti virus & anti spyware programs .

If your Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop computer has a faulty hard disk drive (eg; if the Sat Pro laptop hard drive cannot be "seen" by the computer, if it has bad sectors, bad blocks or is making a clicking or loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive & Restore Windows & the original software from your Toshiba Satellite Pro hard drive data Recovery CD or Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows Recovery DVD. This process will usually involve replacing the hard drive & then placing the Toshiba Satellite Pro Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows Recovery DVD in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The computer should then boot from the Toshiba Satellite Pro Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows Recovery DVD & this will then return the computer to its original state (as new).

Please note; with some Satellite Pro laptops, you will need to tap the "c" key as the system is restarting.

If your original Toshiba Satellite Pro Windows installation CDs / Toshiba hard drive data Recovery CDs are damaged (scratched, cracked etc), they should not be used as this can cause problems installing Windows, or Windows may appear to install successfully but you will experience difficulties at a later date. The Toshiba Sat Pro Recovery CDs or Toshiba Sat Pro Recovery DVD will need to be replaced.

All Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop computers need to use small programs called Toshiba Satellite Pro drivers. Toshiba Satellite Pro drivers simply tell the computer about items which are built into it (such as a Toshiba Satellite Pro sound card drivers; for producing sound, Toshiba Satellite Pro video card drivers for producing graphics etc), or attached to it (such as a scanner or printer).
