Toshiba usually ship their Satellite laptop computers with Toshiba Satellite Win XP Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Win XP Recovery DVDs (also known as Toshiba Satellite hard drive Recovery CDs, Toshiba Satellite hard drive Restore CDs, Toshiba Satellite hard drive data Restore CDs, Toshiba Satellite hard drive Recovery DVDs, Toshiba Satellite hard drive Restore DVDs or Toshiba Satellite hard drive data Restore DVDs ). The Toshiba Satellite Win XP Recovery CDs & Toshiba Satellite Win XP Recovery DVDs are specifically designed for your Toshiba Satellite laptop computer & usually contain an image of what was on the laptop hard drive when it was first bought. They allow you to return the Toshiba Satellite to its original state (as new). This is particularly useful if the machine has been attacked by a virus, if the original Toshiba Satellite laptop hard drive has developed a fault, or if you simply wish to replace or upgrade the hard drive, & need to re-install your original Toshiba Satellite software.
The Toshiba Satellite Recovery CDs & Toshiba Satellite Recovery DVDs are also sometimes referred to as Win XP installation CDs or Win XP installation DVDs because they completely erase the contents of your laptop hard drive & then re-install your operating system (Win XP). However, they differ from normal Win XP installation disks in that they usually Restore all programs which were originally installed on the laptop hard drive when the Toshiba Satellite was first purchased (any additional programs or files which were not originally installed will be overwritten).

If your Toshiba Satellite laptop has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to re-install Win XP from your Toshiba Satellite Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Win XP Recovery DVD & then install quality anti virus & anti spyware programs .
If your PC is running slowly, it could be due to a virus or Viruses. The computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. If this is the case; repairing the current Win XP installation will not help because the repair process will not remove infections. Re-installing Win XP will wipe the hard drive & so will remove - delete viruses, malware, spyware or Adware & will also remove programs & utilities which may no longer be required.
Reinstalling Win XP almost always allows the computer to "run faster" and the user can re-install the programs that they actually want & use.
If your Toshiba Satellite laptop has a faulty hard disk drive (eg; if the laptop hard drive cannot be "seen" by the computer, if it has bad sectors, bad blocks or is making a clicking or loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive & Restore Win XP & the original software from your Toshiba Satellite hard drive data Recovery CD or Toshiba Satellite Win XP Recovery DVD. This process will usually involve replacing the laptop hard drive & then placing the Toshiba Satellite Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Win XP Recovery DVD in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The laptop should then boot from the Toshiba Satellite Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Win XP Recovery DVD & this will then return the computer to its original state (as new).
If your original Toshiba Satellite Win XP installation CDs / Toshiba Satellite hard drive data Recovery CDs are damaged (scratched, cracked etc), they should not be used as this can cause problems installing Win XP, or Win XP may appear to install successfully but you will experience difficulties at a later date. The Toshiba Satellite laptop Recovery CDs or Toshiba Satellite Win XP Recovery DVD will need to be replaced.

All Toshiba Satellite laptop computers need to use small programs called Toshiba Satellite drivers. Toshiba Satellite drivers simply tell the computer about items which are built into it (such as a Toshiba Satellite sound card driver; for producing sound, Toshiba Satellite video card driver for producing graphics etc), or attached to it (such as a scanner or printer). One of the advantages of owning a Toshiba Satellite laptop is that the Toshiba Satellite hard drive data Recovery CD (Toshiba Satellite hard drive data Restore CD) will usually contain Toshiba Satellite drivers for all of the items which are built into it, & these are needed for the PC to work correctly.

In placing an order with Genner Communications, customers are confirming that they own a legitimate Win XP Licence (Win XP Product Key) & that Genner Communications have their permission to act as their agents with regard to supplying them with Win XP Re-installation CDs, Win XP Recovery CDs or Win XP Restore CDs (ie; you give us permission to supply you with software to which you already own the licence).
Our CDs will not work with systems which do not have a legitimate Win XP Product Key (the Win XP Product Key contains 25 characters & is printed on a label which is attached to the Top, Side or Rear of a PC case or on a Laptop Base).
We can now supply Machine Specific Win XP Recovery CDs from a dedicated online library via download if the customers computer originally shipped with Win XP installed & the owner has the original Win XP Product Key (the customer has a legal right to be able to obtain their CDs).
Alternatively; we can now supply replacement Win XP Recovery CDs via mail or collection if the PC originally shipped with Win XP installed, if the owner has the original Win XP Product Key and if the purchaser confirms in writing (via email or post) that they were recommended to us by MS (by recommending us, MS are effectively confirming that we have permission to create & supply the CDs).
