We are pleased to offer Hard Drive Image CDs for certain
models of certain Brands of PC.
These CDs are specific to particular models of PC & literally contain an image of what was originally installed on the computers hard disk drive when new. Simply boot from the CD (or CD1 if this is a multiple CD set) or DVD & follow the onscreen instructions to fully install the clone image of your original hard drive (also installs onto a new hard disk drive).
Please note; these CDs will not work if the computer motherboard has been changed, and our CDs require the original XP or Vista Product Key. These CDs are NOT available for all systems for which we could originally supply Recovery CDs or Restore CDs.

Genner Communications are arguably the best in the world at our main area of business; the supply of XP and Vista Recovery CDs, XP and Vista Restore CDs & XP and Vista Reinstallation CDs which are usually unavailable elsewhere.
Major computer manufacturers usually ship their computers with one or more hard drive data Recovery CDs (also known as XP and Vista Recovery CDs, hard drive Restore CDs or hard drive data Restore CDs). Other manufacturers may supply the XP and Vista Recovery data on a special part of the hard drive which is commonly known as the Recovery partition.
The XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs are specifically designed for your PC, usually contain an image of what was on the computers hard drive when it was first bought, & they allow you to return the machine to its original state (as new).
The XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs are also sometimes referred to as XP and Vista reinstallation CDs because they completely erase the contents of your hard drive & then re-install your operating system (XP and Vista). However, they differ from normal XP and Vista installation disks in that they usually Restore all programs which were originally installed on the hard drive when the PC was first purchased (any additional programs or files which were not originally installed will be overwritten).
This is particularly useful if the machine has been attacked by a virus, if the original hard drive has developed a fault, or if you simply wish to replace or upgrade the hard drive, & need to re-install your original software.
Our agreements with manufacturers typically mean that we are unable to provide XP and Vista Recovery CDs for systems which are less than two years old (but this agreement varies between manufacturers). It also means that even when XP and Vista Recovery CDs are no longer available, we can usually supply XP and Vista Restore CDs (the correct version - build of XP and Vista with the correct drivers for most models of laptop, desktop or tower computer).
So; even if certain XP and Vista Recovery CDs are simply no longer available, we can often provide a working - cost effective solution.
This arrangement benefits everyone. Because Genner Sales supplies XP and Vista Recovery CDs & XP and Vista Restore CDs which would often no longer be available, this means that the effective life of the machine is significantly increased & the customer is much more likely to purchase a computer from the same manufacturer.
The customer wins; because they have a working computer.
The manufacturer wins; because we are effectively providing free, high quality support for their products.
The manufacturer wins again; because customers are less likely to be disenchanted & are less likely to switch brands in the future.
MS wins; because customers are much less likely to resort to buying or using illegal software (so we are helping to erase the pirate market).
The customer wins again; because software installed from Genner Sales XP and Vista Recovery CDs or XP and Vista Restore CDs will use their current XP and Vista product key to install a legal, fully functional version of XP or Vista, which can be registered with MS (either online or via phone). Our CDs will not work unless the customer owns a computer which originally shipped with a legal version of XP and Vista.
Please Note; To date, only Packard Bell has refused permission or objected to our providing this service. For this reason, we are unable to support Packard Bell systems or supply Packard Bell Recovery CDs or Packard Bell Restore CDs (even when Packard Bell no-longer supply them). Sorry.
However; Most manufacturers not only actively support our efforts, but happily recommend our services. We have been recommended to customers by PC World, Comet, Dell, eMachines, Advent, Gateway, Compaq, HP, Toshiba & MS, but we also receive a high number of customer recommendations.
Many of our XP and Vista Recovery CDs & XP and Vista Restore CDs are developed in-house or are created from manufacturers master CDs or DVDs.
All of our XP and Vista Recovery CDs & Restore are supplied from our Telford Offices in the University of Wolverhampton e-innovation Centre. They are posted by 1st class mail, by recorded delivery or are provided via our download facility & are supplied with full technical support.
We believe in total customer service & support & can often create or supply XP and Vista Recovery CDs which are not shown in our extensive list of available products.

Downloaded XP and Vista Recovery CDs, Downloaded XP and Vista Restore CDs or Downloaded XP and Vista Reinstallation CDs, are supplied either as compressed nrg (Nero) files which contain complete images of the CDs, or as compressed folders which extract as complete folders containing drivers etc for specific machines.
Nero burning software can be downloaded from the Nero web site (links supplied with the download instructions).
Compression - decompression software can be downloaded from our Download site; http://www.gennersales.net/images/index.htm.
We will provide the download option as & when possible. Customers who wish to download images of XP and Vista Recovery CDs, XP and Vista Restore CDs or XP and Vista Reinstallation CDs which are not advertised as being available can request that we supply the correct CDs for their system.
Please note; Our XP and Vista Recovery CDs, XP and Vista Restore CDs or XP and Vista Reinstallation CDs will only work if the customer has the correct XP and Vista Product Key - XP and Vista licence.
The XP and Vista licence - XP and Vista Product Key can be found on the top, side or rear of a PC case, or on the base of a laptop case.
It is Company policy to ensure that customers PCs are fully repaired - fully operational as quickly as possible. In line with this, we can even provide (at the discretion of Genner Communications) a facility whereby customers who cannot resolve issues can send or deliver their PCs to our offices at the e-Innovation Centre, University of Wolverhampton (Telford). We will then fault find or reinstall XP and Vista at no charge. All the we ask is that the customer cover postage costs.

Our team of qualified computer engineers are experienced in finding the correct solution for unobtainable XP and Vista Recovery CDs.
We can usually determine which version & build of XP and Vista is required for each system (providing that you have a valid product key - XP and Vista licence) & can then provide both the correct (legal) version of XP and Vista & the correct drivers.
However; this service is only available if the XP and Vista Recovery CDs are not available from the manufacturer, & it will only work if the original XP and Vista license (XP and Vista Product Key) is available. The XP and Vista product key can be found on a green & white label which is stuck to the top, side or rear of the computer case, or on the underside of a laptop.
Many suppliers & manufacturers recommend that customers obtain their replacement XP and Vista Recovery CDs from us (if they no longer hold stock). We have been recommended to customers by such leading retailers & manufacturers as PC World, Compaq, HP, eMachines & MS.
If your PC has been attacked by a virus which is still causing problems, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to completely erase the hard drive & re-install XP and Vista from your XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs. This process will usually involve placing the XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs / hard drive data Restore CDs in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The computer should then boot from the XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive Recovery CD & will often give you the option of formatting the hard drive (which would then completely delete the virus & the hard drive contents). The XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs will then return the hard drive to its original state (as new). Customers who buy XP and Vista installation CDs / hard drive data Recovery CDs from Genner Sales are entitled to free technical support and advice.
If your PC is running slowly, it could be due to a virus or Viruses. The computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. If this is the case; repairing the current XP and Vista installation will not help because the repair process will not remove infections. Re-installing XP and Vista will wipe the hard drive & so will remove - delete viruses, malware, spyware or Adware & will also remove programs & utilities which may no longer be required.
Reinstalling XP and Vista almost always allows the computer to "run faster" and the user can re-install the programs that they actually want & use.
If your PC has a faulty hard disk drive, the best course of action is often to completely replace the hard drive & Restore XP and Vista & the original software from your XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CD. This process will usually involve placing the XP and Vista Recovery CDs - XP and Vista installation CDs in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The computer should then boot from the XP and Vista Recovery CDs & this will then return the computer to its original state (as new). XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs from Genner Sales are supplied with a unique serial number which entitles the purchaser to free technical support and advice from Genner Sales.

If your original XP and Vista installation CDs or XP and Vista Recovery CDs are damaged (scratched, cracked etc), they should not be used as this can cause problems installing XP and Vista, or XP and Vista may appear to install successfully but you will experience difficulties at a later date. The CDs will need to be replaced or repaired.
Note; If we do not have the correct hard drive data Recovery CDs in stock for your PC, we can often make new XP and Vista installation CDs from your originals (even if the originals are damaged).
In the Computer industry, we tend to split PCs into 2x distinct types; Branded (HP, Compaq, IBM, Dell, e machines, Fujitsu Siemens, Acer, Advent, IT Works etc) & Clone machines (also referred to as garage PCs because in the early days, enthusiasts often built PCs from home "in their garage").
All computers need to use small programs called drivers. Drivers simply tell the computer about items which are built into it (such as a sound card; for producing sound, video card for producing graphics etc), or attached to it (such as a scanner or printer). One of the advantages of owning a Branded PC is that the hard drive data Recovery CD (hard drive data Restore CD) will usually contain drivers for all of the items which are built into it, & these are needed for the PC to work correctly.
Genner Sales XP and Vista Recovery CDs & XP and Vista Restore CDs contain the correct XP and Vista drivers.
If XP and Vista is installed on a PC from a normal XP and Vista installation CD, this will usually not contain the correct drivers (which are needed for the PC to work correctly) & will probably not allow the customer to use their own (legitimate) XP and Vista license.
Most XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Restore CDs automatically check the computer to make sure that the XP and Vista Recovery CDs are meant for that particular type of PC. Therefore; you will need the correct XP and Vista Recovery CDs for your PC.
When purchasing your PC, you are effectively also purchasing the licences for any software which is installed (the licence code for XP and Vista is usually printed on a label located on the PC case at the rear of the machine). XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs simply reinstall this software.
The licence (Product Code) is usually printed on a label which is located on the PC case at the rear of the machine, or in the case of laptops; on the base). This code is usually made up of 5x sets of 5x letters & numbers which are sometimes required either during the installation or for re-registering your PC with MS by telephone (purchasing your Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs from Genner Sales also entitles you to free technical support & advice from qualified, experienced engineers).
In order to ensure / guarantee quality, Genner Sales do not supply original XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs (XP and Vista Restore CDs - hard drive data Restore CDs). This is simply because we prefer to control the quality of our products. We therefore produce our own CDs, but they contain the same programs & data as the originals (you will already own the licence to these programs) & we can supply them on high quality printed CDs at a fraction of the cost of the originals whilst guaranteeing their quality (all CDs are produced in-house using top quality media with images stored digitally on dedicated servers, and are checked & tested prior to shipping).
Our XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs (XP and Vista Recovery CDs) contain the same programs, data and files as hard drive Recovery CDs which were included with the new PC.
Genner Sales XP and Vista Restore CD sets typically contain the correct build of XP and Vista for a particular system, with the correct drivers.
Many PCs are not supplied with XP and Vista Recovery CDs - hard drive data Recovery CDs (XP and Vista Restore CDs - hard drive data Restore CDs), but our XP and Vista Recovery CDs still Restore everything which was originally installed on the computer, whilst our XP and Vista Restore CDs install the correct (legal) version of XP and Vista & the correct drivers.

Our XP and Vista Recovery CDs simply reinstall the software which you already have licences for & all software installed via our Recovery CDs is therefore legitimate.
Recognising the service that we provide; many manufacturers who continue to put their customers interests first (including Dell, eMachines, Gateway & HP) understand that we are providing a valuable supplementary service & have recommended that customers obtain Recovery CDs from Genner Sales, if they no longer have stock.
All major UK computer retailers; PC World, Comet, Dixons & Staples have regularly recommended that customers obtain XP and Vista Recovery CDs from Genner Sales.
Additionally; our XP and Vista Recovery CDs & XP and Vista Restore CDs come with full technical support from highly experienced & qualified engineers & our XP and Vista Recovery CDs & XP and Vista Restore CDs install fully legal versions of XP and Vista which can often be updated online & can be registered with MS, whilst MS have also recommended us to customers.

In placing an order with Genner Communications, customers are confirming that they own a legitimate XP and Vista Licence (XP and Vista Product Key) & that Genner Communications have their permission to act as their agents with regard to supplying them with XP and Vista Re-installation CDs, XP and Vista Recovery CDs or XP and Vista Restore CDs (ie; you give us permission to supply you with software to which you already own the licence).
Our CDs will not work with systems which do not have a legitimate XP and Vista Product Key (the XP and Vista Product Key contains 25 characters & is printed on a label which is attached to the Top, Side or Rear of a PC case or on a Laptop Base).
We can now supply Machine Specific XP and Vista Recovery CDs from a dedicated online library via download if the customers computer originally shipped with XP and Vista installed & the owner has the original XP and Vista Product Key (the customer has a legal right to be able to obtain their CDs).
Alternatively; we can now supply replacement XP and Vista Recovery CDs via mail or collection if the PC originally shipped with XP and Vista installed, if the owner has the original XP and Vista Product Key and if the purchaser confirms in writing (via email or post) that they were recommended to us by MS (by recommending us, MS are effectively confirming that we have permission to create & supply the CDs).
