Windows XP Restore - Repair CDs
Fujitsu Siemens usually ship their computers with one or more hard drive data Recovery CDs (also known as hard drive Recovery CDs, hard drive Restore CDs or hard drive data Restore CDs). The Fujitsu Siemens hard drive data Recovery CDs are specifically designed for your Fujitsu Siemens computer, usually contain an image of what was on the computers hard drive when it was first bought, & they allow you to return the machine to its original state (as new). This is particularly useful if the machine has been attacked by a virus, if the original hard drive has developed a fault, or if you simply wish to replace or upgrade the hard drive, & need to re-install your original software.
The Fujitsu Siemens Windows XP Recovery CDs are also sometimes referred to as Windows XP installation CDs because they completely erase the contents of your hard drive & then re-install your operating system (Windows XP). However, they differ from normal Windows XP installation disks in that they usually Restore all programs which were originally installed on the hard drive when the computer was first purchased (any additional programs or files which were not originally installed will be overwritten).

This is because Microsoft no longer support Windows XP and they no longer allow the supply of Windows XP CDs or Windows Vista CDs for Windows Recovery, Restore or Repair purposes.
Therefore; we now supply a range of Windows Recovery CD options and Windows Restore CD options under a single Windows XP Repair or Windows Vista Repair service.
How it Works. Although we cannot supply the Windows XP CD or Windows Vista DVD, we can supply the correct drivers, utilities and manuals. We can also advise customers on which Windows XP CDs and Windows Vista DVDs are compatible with particular systems and particular licenses. we will also provide instructions, advice and support on how to reinstall Windows or repair Windows or upgrade from an earlier version of windows. If customers do not have, or cannot obtain the correct - legal version of Windows, we can usually reinstall the original version of Windows at no extra cost. However, the customer must have the original - legal and valid Windows License (this is printed on the Windows Product Key label which should be attached to the computer case).

Virus Attack?
f your PC has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to re-install Windows XP from your Fujitsu Siemens Recovery CDs & then install quality anti virus & anti spyware programs .
Computer Running Slowly?
If your PC is running slowly, it could be due to a virus or Viruses. The computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. If this is the case; repairing the current Windows XP installation will not help because the repair process will not remove infections. Re-installing Windows XP will wipe the hard drive & so will remove - delete viruses, malware, spyware or Adware & will also remove programs & utilities which may no longer be required.
Reinstalling Windows XP almost always allows the computer to "run faster" and the user can re-install the programs that they actually want & use.
Faulty Hard Disk Drive?
If your computer has a faulty hard disk drive (eg; if the hard drive cannot be "seen" by the computer, if it has bad sectors, bad blocks or is making a clicking or loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive & Restore Windows XP & the original software from your hard drive data Recovery CD. This process will usually involve replacing the hard drive & then placing the Fujitsu Siemens Recovery CDs in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The computer should then boot from the Fujitsu Siemens Recovery CDs & this will then return the computer to its original state (as new).
If required, replacement hard disk drives can be supplied by A&A Computers, & these also come with full technical support.

Please note; your Fujitsu Siemens PC was bought with Windows XP pre installed and with your unique Windows licence (Windows Product Key) printed on a coloured label which is attached to the Fujitsu Siemens PC case.
This license is for a specific version of Windows XP and Fujitsu Siemens is licensed by Microsoft to supply Windows Recovery CDs - Windows Restore CDs for your Fujitsu Siemens PC for up to 2 years after the launch date. If the computer is over 2 years old, Fujitsu Siemens cannot supply the CDs.
Genner Communications are Registered Microsoft Partners and originally supplied Fujitsu Siemens PC Windows XP Recovery CDs - Fujitsu Siemens PC Windows XP Restore CDs (with full technical support) after the 2 year period. During a meeting with Microsoft in January 2009 Microsoft asked us to cease supplying the CDs, but to continue to supply the Fujitsu Siemens PC Drivers and Utilities with technical support. Therefore; the original CDs can no longer be legally supplied (without specific permission; this would be a breach of Microsoft copyright).
We have now setup a number of facilities to help owners of Fujitsu Siemens PCs.

Windows XP Recovery - Windows XP Restore and Windows XP Repair Options.
Although we are not allowed to supply the Windows XP CD or Windows Vista DVD, we can supply the correct Windows drivers, utilities and manuals. We can also advise customers in the UK on which Windows XP CDs and Windows Vista DVDs are compatible with their particular system and license.
We can also provide customers with instructions, advice and support on reinstalling Windows, repairing Windows or upgrading from an earlier version of Windows and we are in the process of configuring an online support forum (within Facebook). This will allow customers from around the world to "chat" and interact to resolve common issues etc.
The above is called our "Windows Driver Restore Service" because it allows customers to Repair or Restore their Windows installation, and reinstall the correct Windows drivers.

We are currently redesigning our Windows Restore CD, Windows Recovery CD and Windows Repair CD service to further assist Customers.
This is because Microsoft no longer support Windows XP and they no longer allow the supply of Windows XP CDs or Windows Vista CDs for Windows Recovery, Restore or Repair purposes.
Therefore; we now supply a range of Windows Recovery CD options and Windows Restore CD options under a single Windows XP Repair or Windows Vista Repair service.
How it Works. Although we cannot supply the Windows XP CD or Windows Vista DVD, we can supply the correct drivers, utilities and manuals. We can also advise customers on which Windows XP CDs and Windows Vista DVDs are compatible with particular systems and particular licenses. we will also provide instructions, advice and support on how to reinstall Windows or repair Windows or upgrade from an earlier version of Windows. If customers do not have, or cannot obtain the correct - legal version of Windows, we can usually reinstall the original version of Windows at no extra cost. However, the customer must have the original - legal and valid Windows License (this is printed on the Windows Product Key label which should be attached to the computer case).

Genner Communications is currently developing a new Product Range in conjunction with GR Sales (UK and Europe).
The first product resulting from this collaboration was the GR Eagle. The GR Eagle is a dashboard mounted Video Camera & Recorder which records up to 4 hours of staggered or rolling live video directly onto a standard SD memory card. This video footage can then be copied, it can played back on a computer or through a TV etc.
Video Footage recorded by the GR Eagle can be used to prove legal cases (eg; in the event of an accident or road rage etc), it can be used to record laps etc during track days, it can be teach driving skills, demonstrate correct routes to be taken, record scenic journeys etc.
