Computer hard drive storage capacity & performance can be a major bottle neck, & can limit system performance in any computer. Your eMachines eMonster & eMachines eTower hard drive is where you programs and data are stored, & it is also used by the eMachines eMonster & eMachines eTower as a type of additional memory (data can be written to & retrieved from the hard drive in the same way as conventional memory).

Therefore; the bigger & faster the hard drive, the better.  However, not all hard drives are compatible with all eMonster & eTower systems & not all types, sizes or brands of hard drive which can be fitted to all eMachines eMonster & eMachines eTower computers (not all eMachines eMonster & eMachines eTower computers can use all types or all sizes of hard drive).

Our eMonster & eTower hard drives have been specifically chosen for performance & reliability & have been tested in eMachines computers. Our eMonster & eTower hard drives have been selected for, and configured to work with specific eMonster & eTower computer systems.

Every eMachines eMonster & eMachines eTower hard drive is supplied with a free "How to build a PC" video CD, which shows how to fit components such as the hard drive, DVD ROM & memory. Our eMachines eMonster & eMachines eTower hard drives are also supplied with technical support from qualified & experienced computer engineers.

Faulty Hard Drive

If you have a faulty eMachines eMonster or eMachines eTower hard drive (eg; if the hard disk drive cannot be "seen" by the eMachines eMonster or eMachines eTower, if the eMachines eMonster or eMachines eTower hard drive has bad sectors, if your eMonster or eTower hard drive has bad blocks or if your eMachines eMonster or eMachines eTower hard drive is making a clicking noise or a loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive & restore Win XP & the original software from your eMachines eMonster or eMachines eTower Win XP Recovery CD.

This process will usually involve replacing the eMonster or eTower hard drive & then placing the eMachines Win XP Recovery CDs in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The computer should then boot from the eMachines Recovery CDs & this will then return the computer to its original state (as new).

Our eMonster or eTower hard drives come with a video CD which shows how to replace the hard drive. Our eMachines hard drives also come with technical support.

This is because Microsoft no longer support Windows XP and they no longer allow the supply of Windows XP CDs or Windows Vista CDs for Windows Recovery, Restore or Repair purposes.

Therefore; we now supply a range of Windows Recovery CD options and Windows Restore CD options under a single Windows XP Repair or Windows Vista Repair service.

How it Works. Although we cannot supply the Windows XP CD or Windows Vista DVD, we can supply the correct drivers, utilities and manuals. We can also advise customers on which Windows XP CDs and Windows Vista DVDs are compatible with particular systems and particular licenses. we will also provide instructions, advice and support on how to reinstall Windows or repair Windows or upgrade from an earlier version of Windows. If customers do not have, or cannot obtain the correct - legal version of Windows, we can usually reinstall the original version of Windows at no extra cost. However, the customer must have the original - legal and valid Windows License (this is printed on the Windows Product Key label which should be attached to the computer case).
