eMachines computers are usually supplied with one or more hard drive data Recovery CDs (also known as eMachines Windows Recovery CDs, eMachines hard drive restore CDs or hard drive data restore CDs). The eMachines hard drive data Recovery CDs are specifically designed for your eMachines computer, usually contain an image of what was on the computers hard drive when it was first bought, & they allow you to return the machine to its original state (as new). This is particularly useful if the machine has been attacked by a virus, if the original hard drive has developed a fault, or if you simply wish to replace or upgrade the hard drive, & need to re-install your original software.
The eMachines Windows Recovery CDs are also sometimes referred to as eMachines Windows installation CDs because they completely erase the contents of your hard drive & then re-install your operating system (Windows ME or Windows XP). However, they differ from normal Windows installation disks in that they usually restore all programs which were originally installed on the hard drive when the computer was first purchased (any additional programs or files which were not originally installed will be overwritten).

eMachines computer owners also own the licences to any software which was originally installed (including licences to Windows ME or Windows XP & all other applications). Our eMachines Recovery CDs simply reinstall the software which you already own the licence to. All software installed via our eMachines Recovery CDs is therefore legitimate & can be registered.
Additionally; many of our eMachines Windows ME Recovery CDs & Windows XP Recovery CDs are unavailable elsewhere. Our eMachines Recovery CDs also come with full technical support from highly experienced & qualified engineers.
We are arguably the best in the world at what we do (the supply of specific Windows Recovery CDs or Windows Restore CDs for specific computer systems). Our CDs will fully reinstall Windows onto systems which have a legitimate Windows Product Code (Windows Licence). In placing an order with Genner Communications, customers are confirming that they own a legitimate Windows Licence (Windows Product Key) & that Genner Communications have their permission to act as their agents with regard to supplying them with Windows Re-installation CDs, Windows Recovery CDs or Windows Restore CDs (ie; you give us permission to supply you with software to which you already own the licence).
Our CDs will not work with systems which do not have a legitimate Windows Product Key (the Windows Product Key contains 25 characters & is printed on a label which is attached to the Top, Side or Rear of a PC case or on a Laptop Base).
We can now supply Machine Specific Windows Recovery CDs from a dedicated online library via download if the customers computer originally shipped with Windows installed & the owner has the original Windows Product Key (the customer has a legal right to be able to obtain their CDs).
Alternatively; we can now supply replacement Windows Recovery CDs via mail or collection if the PC originally shipped with Windows installed, if the owner has the original Windows Product Key and if the purchaser confirms in writing (via email or post) that they were recommended to us by Microsoft (by recommending us, Microsoft are effectively confirming that we have permission to create & supply the CDs).

If your PC has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to re-install Windows from your eMachines Recovery CDs & then install quality anti virus & anti spyware programs .
If your PC is running slowly, it could be due to a virus or Viruses. The computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. If this is the case; repairing the current Windows installation will not help because the repair process will not remove infections. Re-installing Windows will wipe the hard drive & so will remove - delete viruses, malware, spyware or Adware & will also remove programs & utilities which may no longer be required.
Reinstalling Windows almost always allows the computer to "run faster" and the user can re-install the programs that they actually want & use.
If your computer has a faulty hard disk drive (eg; if the hard drive cannot be "seen" by the computer, if it has bad sectors, bad blocks or is making a clicking or loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive & restore Windows & the original software from your hard drive data Recovery CD. This process will usually involve replacing the hard drive & then placing the eMachines Windows Recovery CDs in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The computer should then boot from the eMachines Windows Recovery CDs & this will then return the computer to its original state (as new).
If required, replacement hard disk drives can be supplied be found at eMachines hard drives, & these also come with full technical support.
If your original eMachines installation CDs / eMachines hard drive data Recovery CDs are damaged (scratched, cracked etc), they should not be used as this can cause problems installing Windows, or Windows may appear to install successfully but you will experience difficulties at a later date. The eMachines Recovery CDs will need to be replaced.
Note; If we do not have the correct hard drive data Recovery CDs in stock, we can often make new eMachines installation CDs from your originals (even if the originals are damaged).
All eMachines computers need to use small programs called drivers. Drivers simply tell the computer about items which are built into it (such as a sound card; for producing sound, video card for producing graphics etc), or attached to it (such as a scanner or printer). One of the advantages of owning a Branded PC is that the hard drive data Recovery CD (hard drive data restore CD) will usually contain drivers for all of the items which are built into it, & these are needed for the PC to work correctly.
