eMachines laptop computers - eMachines notebook computers are usually supplied with one or more Windows recovery CDs (also known as eMachines laptop restore CDs - eMachines notebook restore CDs).

Because we recognise that these CDs can be lost or become damaged & are often unavailable elsewhere; we have developed our range of eMachines laptop Windows XP Home Edition Recovery CDs - eMachines laptop Windows XP Home Edition Restore CDs. These CDs contain the same build of Windows XP Home Edition which was originally installed on the machine when new, & our CDs include eMachines laptop drivers - eMachines notebook drivers.

Virus Attacks

If your eMachines laptop has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to re-install Windows & then install quality anti virus & anti spyware programs .

Virus Attacks

If your PC is running slowly, it could be due to a virus or Viruses. The computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. If this is the case; repairing the current Windows installation will not help because the repair process will not remove infections. Re-installing Windows will wipe the hard drive & so will remove - delete viruses, malware, spyware or Adware & will also remove programs & utilities which may no longer be required.

Reinstalling Windows almost always allows the computer to "run faster" and the user can re-install the programs that they actually want & use.

Faulty Hard Drive

If your eMachines laptop computer has a faulty hard disk drive (eg; if the hard drive cannot be "seen" by the eMachines laptop, if it has bad sectors, bad blocks or is making a clicking or loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive & restore Windows. This process will usually involve replacing the hard drive & then placing the eMachines laptop Windows restore CD in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The eMachines laptop should then boot from the eMachines laptop Windows Restore CD & then install the eMachines laptop drivers.

If required, replacement hard disk drives can be supplied be found at  eMachines hard drives, & these also come with full technical support.

Faulty data recovery CDs

If your original eMachines laptop Windows installation CDs are damaged (scratched, cracked etc), they should not be used as this can cause problems installing Windows, or Windows may appear to install successfully but you will experience difficulties at a later date. The eMachines laptop Recovery CDs will need to be replaced.

Note; If we do not have the correct hard drive data Recovery CDs in stock, we can often make new eMachines laptop installation CDs from your originals (even if the originals are damaged).

Do not use a normal Windows CD on a Brand Name PC

All eMachines laptop computers need to use small programs called eMachines laptop Drivers. eMachines laptop Drivers simply tell the computer about items which are built into it (such as a eMachines laptop sound card driver; for producing sound, eMachines laptop video card driver for producing graphics etc), or attached to it (such as a scanner or printer). One of the advantages of owning a eMachines laptop is that the eMachines laptop Recovery CD (eMachines laptop restore CD) will usually contain eMachines laptop Drivers for all of the items which are built into it, & these are needed for the eMachines laptop to work correctly.

A standard Windows XP installation CD cannot be used with the unique eMachines laptop Windows XP license.

Therefore; owners of eMachines laptop computers also own the licences to any software which was originally installed (including all other applications which were originally installed). All software installed via our eMachines laptop Recovery CDs is therefore legitimate & can be registered.

Our CDs will not work with systems which do not have a legitimate Windows Product Key (the Windows Product Key contains 25 characters & is printed on a label which is attached to the Top, Side or Rear of a PC case or on a Laptop Base).

We can now supply Machine Specific Windows Recovery CDs from a dedicated online library via download if the customers computer originally shipped with Windows installed & the owner has the original Windows Product Key (the customer has a legal right to be able to obtain their CDs).
