If your Amilo Pi1536 is running slowly, it could be due to a virus or Viruses. The computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. If this is the case; repairing the current Vista installation will not help because the repair process will not remove infections. Re-installing Windows will wipe the hard drive and so will remove - delete viruses, malware, spyware or Adware and will also remove programs - utilities which may no longer be required.

Reinstalling Windows almost always allows the Pi1536 to "run faster" and the user can re-install the programs that they actually want & use.

Please note; this service does not include a Windows XP CD. This product will only work with Amilo Pi1536 laptop computers. Your Amilo Pi1536 must have originally shipped with Windows XP Home Edition installed and must still have the Windows XP Home Edition License (Product Key) attached to the Pi1536 base.

The version of Windows which your Amilo Pi1536 is licensed for is printed at the top of the Product Key label.

Please also note that we will need you to provide us with the code from the Product Key label. We will then contact Microsoft to ensure that we supply you with the correct Recovery - Re-Image Service (you need the correct license).

Amilo Pi1536 (Windows XP Home Edition) Recovery - Re-Image CD and SD Card

Standard versions of Windows XP will not work with the Pi1536. This product has been developed in-house by Genner Communications and consists of a Recovery - Re-Image CD (Boot CD), an SD Card which contains the hard drive image and a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi1536 Drivers - Utilities DVD. This product is very fast and easy to use.

Simply place the SD card in the right hand side SD Card Slot and place the Recovery - Re-Image CD in the DVD Drive. Restart the computer. The Pi1536 will then load a program which will allow you to extract an image of the original Pi1536 hard disk drive (when new) to your hard drive. The process takes minutes and when finished, the computer will boot to the hard disk drive as if it were new (any virus infections, spyware infections etc will have been deleted).
