Advent MC series & Advent T series hard drive data Recovery CDs are specifically designed for your Advent Advent MC series or Advent T series computer, usually contain an image of what was on the computers hard drive when it was first bought, & they allow you to return the machine to its original state (as new). This is particularly useful if the machine has been attacked by a virus, if the original hard drive has developed a fault, or if you simply wish to replace or upgrade the hard drive, & need to re-install your original software.

The  Advent MC series & Advent T series Computer Recovery CDs are also sometimes referred to as  Advent MC series & Advent T series Win XP installation CDs because they completely erase the contents of your hard drive & then re-install your operating system (Win XP). If your PC has been attacked by a virus, or worse still; is infected with a virus which you cannot remove, the best course of action is often to re-install Win XP from your Advent MC series or Advent T series Recovery CDs & then install quality anti virus & anti spyware programs .

If your PC is running slowly, it could be due to a virus or Viruses. The computer could also be infected with spyware, malware or adware. If this is the case; repairing the current Win XP installation will not help because the repair process will not remove infections. Re-installing Win XP will wipe the hard drive & so will remove - delete viruses, malware, spyware or Adware & will also remove programs & utilities which may no longer be required.

Reinstalling Win XP almost always allows the computer to "run faster" and the user can re-install the programs that they actually want & use.

If your computer has a faulty hard disk drive (eg; if the hard drive cannot be "seen" by the computer, if it has bad sectors, bad blocks or is making a clicking or loud whirling noise), the best course of action is usually to completely replace the hard drive & restore Win XP & the original software from your hard drive data Recovery CD. This process will usually involve replacing the hard drive & then placing the  Advent MC series or Advent T series Recovery CDs in the CD ROM or DVD ROM drive & re-booting the system. The computer should then boot from the Advent Recovery CDs & this will then return the computer to its original state (as new).

If required, replacement hard disk drives can be supplied by A&A Computers, & these also come with full technical support.

If your original Advent MC series or Advent T series Win XP installation CDs / Advent MC series or Advent T series hard drive data Recovery CDs are damaged (scratched, cracked etc), they should not be used as this can cause problems installing Win XP, or Win XP may appear to install successfully but you will experience difficulties at a later date. The Advent MC series or Advent T series Recovery CDs will need to be replaced.

Please Note; If we do not have the correct hard drive data Recovery CDs in stock, we can often make new Advent MC series or Advent T series installation CDs from your originals (even if the originals are damaged).

All Advent MC series & Advent T series computers need to use small programs called Advent drivers. Advent drivers simply tell the computer about items which are built into it (such as a Advent sound card driver; for producing sound, Advent video card driver for producing graphics etc), or attached to it (such as a scanner or printer). One of the advantages of owning an Advent Desktop PC - Advent Tower PC is that the hard drive data Recovery CD (hard drive data restore CD) will usually contain Advent drivers for all of the items which are built into it, & these are needed for the PC to work correctly.

• Customers who choose to download their Advent Win XP CDs will need a broadband connection, a decompression utility (such as Winzip or Winrar) & a CD burner (for CDs) or DVD burner (for DVDs) & CD - DVD burning software (such as Nero).
• To use the download service, please order the CDs via via our telephone ordering service or via Paypal (using the the link above & then use the Yellow Download Enquiries button to request that we supply the CDs via download (please provide details of Paypal order & allow 12hrs for delivery).
